The New Year – 2013

I have been away on a long break and now I am back to hopefully add some zing to your life. While I was gone, 2013 started. I take this opportunity to wish all my readers a belated but very Happy New Year. Hope 2013 is a successful year for you.

Happy New Year 2013

2013 has started off very well for me. I hope it has been good to all of you so far.

Time flies and people often do not realize its value. I feel time is the great leveler because time is the only thing that is available to each and every single person in the equal amounts. Rich people do not get extra time. Poor people do not get extra time. Rich or poor, educated or not, hard worker or not, front runner or laggard, man or woman, adult or child, every single person has the same amount of time in a day as long as they are alive. So make the most use of the time you have to do things that matter to you most in life.

Wish you a great 2013 once again!

Happy New Year 2013

Do let me know what you would like to read about in the coming days. What questions do you have about the green card lottery, life in America or any thing else. I will be happy to answer as best I can.

  1. thank you very much and i wish u too a very wonderful 2013! But i do have one question that is bugging me. It is about filling no 10 and 11 of the DS-230 form. It states there that the applicant should write an american address where the green card would be mailed to him/her, the thing is, i dont have anybody staying in the U.S thus do not have any permanent address what do i write there on the number cos you knw no question must be left unanswered? And what if i write ”not yet known” on the number, would that reduce my chances of getting the visa issuance? Thank you very much as you take time to explain!

    • Thank you!

As for DS-230, no.10 clearly says, “if known”. Since you do not know the address at which you will be staying, you can just enter Not Yet Known. You can get this confirmed by contacting your nearest US Consulate.
